Is it possible for you as a single artist to grow a massive sales force?

Indeed it is.

One way is to start blogging. You are already blogging, aren’t you? The number of musicians blogging is rapidly increasing and if you don’t jump aboard right now, it’s going to be really really difficult to do so when you realize what you’re missing out on.

As well as being able to write a blog, post a video or podcast on your blog, you give your fans a chance to interact with you on a platform rather than just via e-mail. And of course, the more comments and participation your blog has, it shows new visitors that there’s lot of activity and a great community around you.

But more importantly, blogs offer the power of revisitability where your readers and fans can come back over and over again. If you can integrate your blog as a crucial part of your marketing, you’ll build a web presence that attracts fans back to your blog. The more they revisit it, the more they’ll want to get your stuff. You build trust, you increase sales. That’s how you can be successful in the independent musician world.

How to promote revisitability? Well, that’s easy. When you send an e-mail to your database, simply put in an excerpt of your blog text with a link back to your blog. As people click back to it, they’ll more than likely comment and your community grows.

That’s the power of revisitability. Repeat visits, more trust, more music sales.
